It Is What It Is

Northeast Delta Human Services Authority (NE Delta HSA) radio show entitled, “It Is What It Is” is pleased to announce its second season on a new station, new day and a new time. After partnering with local Monroe affiliate The Radio People, the show will now air on KMLB 105.7FM and 540AM every Friday morning from 8a.m. to 9a.m. The flight dates for this new season will be February 9, 2018 through June 29, 2018.

Season two welcomes back Moderator and NE Delta HSA Public Information Director, Tenille T. Terry along with resident Clinical-Community Psychologist and NE Delta HSA Executive Director, Dr. Monteic A. Sizer. This change allows the hosts to better connect with the shows audience through multiple line call-in capabilities, Facebook live integration, Skype streaming, increased air wave coverage and dual station broadcasting.

“Broadcasting on these new stations and social platforms will increase listener engagement within the communities we serve,” said Tenille T. Terry. “As we continue to diversify our audience our strategy is to provide content that gives perspective, no matter where a person is in their journey of life,” she stated.

“It Is What It Is” seeks to give voice and a new outlook to those battling and seeking to overcome challenges associated with poverty, mental illness, addiction and developmental disability.

“It Is What It Is” radio show was created out of the need to address conflating societal coping issues within one’s present state. The show gives listeners valuable information and life strategies on how to navigate broken family and social systems that often restrict individuals from being all they were born to be. It’s the goal of NE Delta HSA that this new platform will help expand its primary focus by utilizing nontraditional governmental agency mediums.

Listeners are able to submit questions across NE Delta HSA’s social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter) or call in to share personal stories and experiences on how they overcame some of life’s most difficult challenges.

Listen live on KMLB 105.7FM (Monroe, LA) and 540AM (Monroe, Shreveport, LA and Jackson, MS), online at www.talk540.com or watch live on the Northeast Delta Human Services Authority Facebook Page.
